  • Owners can setup a Google Alert with their property address if they have a Google account. Google will email them with any instance they find online with their property address. If a scammer successfully lists the property with an agent and it is marketed online, the owner will then have the contact information of the listing agent.

  • If they are not familiar with setting up a Google Alert, direct them to Google "How to setup a Google Alert" and this will provide them with step by step instructions.

  • Baldwin County offers a "Property Alert" service. This service will send you an email alert any time your personal or entity name is used in a Real Property filing within the county. Click here to learn more about this free service.

  • BR does not send emails or notifications to let our agents know their property is not for sale. You can share with them that our email open rate is not reliable enough for us to get the word out. You can also share the reason we do not keep a list is it would not be accurate and provide a false sense of security.

  • You may also share the contact information for Ashlyn Hayes, Detective for Baldwin REALTORS Sheriffs Office - 251-721-4044.
